Guiding All Students to Academic Success
It’s a fact. Students who consistently attend math study groups tend to show improvement in their math grades and achieve a better understanding of class material. The College and University provide a number of ways for students to get extra help not only in math, but also in physics, chemistry and other science and engineering classes.
Free study groups for Calculus I, Calculus II, Vector Calculus and Differential Equations follow the curriculum through the semester and provide homework assistance, tutoring and test preparation. Trained study group leaders will help you navigate each level of math, making you stronger academically and preparing you for upper-division engineering courses.

Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honor Society)
Please come and drop in to the engineering honor society’s tutoring sessions. We tutor a wide range of subjects and degrees. If you need help with calculus, chemistry, physics, or just need some advice stop by.
NOTE: The TBP Help Desk is going virtual! To keep in line with the University of Arizona's suspension of all in-person instruction due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all Help Desk sessions will be conducted through Zoom for remainder of the Spring 2020 semester.
The free Tau Beta Pi Help Desk service is offered every Monday 4 - 5:50 p.m. and Thursday 5 - 7 p.m..
Tau Beta Pi members of all Engineering disciplines volunteer their time to tutor students at no charge, so if you are looking for help in a course that is not a general Engineering course or prerequisite, consider looking for sessions with a tutor from your major.
Think Tank, with a variety of free and fee-based services, is the University’s go-to place for math, and science tutoring, supplemental instruction (SI sessions for chemistry, physics, and biology).
