Keep UA Engineering Degrees in Students’ Reach
We believe all students who are willing to put in the effort should get the chance to earn a UA Engineering degree. Engineering studies are difficult and time consuming, and having to labor at a job while attending college makes it even more difficult to meet the rigorous academic challenges. Thus, the College of Engineering is committed to offering the best possible scholarship program. More than 350 students in the College of Engineering received at least one merit- or need-based scholarship in 2015, and more could have benefited from help.
Bring the Engineering Innovation Building to Life
Earmark capital funds to build the Engineering Innovation Building or renovate existing teaching and research facilities.
Support Top Faculty, Research
Boost the College’s capacity to recruit and retain top faculty members and help them advance life-changing research by endowing chairs and professorships.
Support Educational Programs
The College is committed to refreshing its educational programs as industry and economic needs change. Working today with alumni and industry partners to build an endowment fund that will support the next generation of engineers, the UA Civil Engineering and Engineering Management Department is creating a program emphasis that will turn out students ready to meet the growing demand in construction management and heavy construction engineering. Along with the fundamentals – project delivery methods, quantities and cost estimating, scheduling, equipment, cash flow, contracts, and risk management – practical experiences, such as in internships and site visits, will help ensure students enter the workforce with well-worn hard hats, leadership experience and a competitive edge.
Donate Equipment and Tools
Wind tunnels, lasers, 3D printers and water-treatment equipment are costly investments. Improve student and faculty research by donating equipment, software and other tools.
