Engineering Living-Learning CommunityJoin the new community of Engineering freshmen in Gila Hall! This is a great opportunity to live, learn and socialize with your peers. The Engineering Living-Learning Community in Gila Hall brings together first-year engineering students to further their academic, social, professional and personal development. Meet the Engineering Zone Resident Assistants for Fall 2009
Shira Wolf Shira's interests include Engineering Ambassadors, Amigos de las Americas, Institute of Industrial Engineers, traveling, baking, playing card and board games. "Engineering Zone is cool because it creates an environment for different people to get together and share their passion for engineering. The EZ not only provides the opportunity for residents to develop a community with peers and faculty, but it also fosters academic and professional careers. It also offers an exciting atmospher with fun activities."
Interests include Baja SAE, rock climbing, bouldering, slacklining, guitar, off-roading, breaking something just to fix it, being competitive, welding, and anything that gets the adrenaline going. "Engineering Zone is cool because it gives UA students the opportunity to accelerate their future careers as engineers. The Engineering Zone provides a unique, unparalleled experience for residents to develop professional, social, and academic skills; all in a fun and challenging environment! Students come away prepared to be successful in an engineering career, with a steady vision of their future and friendships that last a lifetime."
