Exciting Plans for a New BuildingThe Materials Research Building will be a 200,000-square-foot facility at Speedway Blvd. and Mountain Ave., just east of the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Building on the UA campus. The cost for the building is estimated at $75 million.
This building will house researchers in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science and engineerng, and biomedical engineering related to materials. It will include research and teaching labs, classrooms, offices, auditoria, conference rooms, and a courtyard and atrium. The design will feature spaces for world-class research programs, public events and professional meeting |
