Seven New da Vinci Scholars Named

By Pete Brown - January 11, 2012, 1:17 pm

The College of Engineering recently announced seven da Vinci scholars for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The da Vinci Circle is the UA College of Engineering’s donor society. Its patrons support faculty and students with gifts and contributions, and by funding fellowships and scholarships.

Each da Vinci scholar receives a $2,500 scholarship, thanks to Community Finance Corporation, a Tucson-based nonprofit that in 2010 awarded $100,000 over 4 years to fund the da Vinci scholarship program.

For full details and a profile of each scholar, go to the da Vinci Scholarship website.
